Obligatory Christmas-ornament-against-lights bokeh shot

So, it’s not the new year yet, but thought I’d get a little extra practice in.

IMG_5512Camera was mounted on a tripod, using a shutter release.

Had to shine a flashlight on the ornament to get a decent focus, due to low ambient light. The ornament is against a fiber-optic tabletop Xmas tree (no big tree put up this year, b/c of 7mo kitten that likes to climb everything…!!). Also adjusted the sharpening in raw mode to try to compensate for slight motion of ornament. Everything else is as shot.
