The Pour

The weekly photo challenge over at the Digital Photography School site is “Fast Cars,” but I really don’t care a whit about cars, so I’ve been focusing instead on capturing motion and movement in general.

Needs some refinement of technique, but this is the best I had today.

IMG_6527Hand held, manual focus, TV mode. Used a flash with a diffuser filter over it, with the exposure value set at -3, coupled with a slow shutter speed. I didn’t want to completely stop the motion, but just highlight a moment of it. Needs some work.
